NARO, from the team behind Atoboy and Atomix, is located in the iconic Rockefeller Center on the Rink Level. NARO’s cuisine enters on the subtle and delicate flavors of Korean cuisine while being rooted in traditional ingredients and techniques, drawing inspiration from classic dishes from various moments throughout Korean history.

At NARO, the Main Dining Room currently offers our 7-Course Signature Tasting Menu at $145 per person, alongside a $75 3-course prix-fixe menu. Additionally, we offer an À La Carte menu available on our Indoor Terrace, Bar & Lounge.

                    Naro was hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had. The staff were amazing, the food was divine and the attention to detail was impeccable!

                    We were really looking forward to forward to this after not being able to get a table at Atomix, we had high hopes. Service was very good but sadly the food was just good. The ingredients were of good quality but the flavour was lacking in many of the dishes (we had the 7 course tasting menu). Even when there were several ingredients, many of the dishes were quite bland or a bit too heavy. The shrimp and mussel sundubu was delicious but there was a lot of tofu, we felt this dish was quite heavy so a smaller portion would have been better. The bass was a little dissapointing, mostly due to the texture. The battered radish was too much for me alongside a delicate fish. The duck was very nice itself, but everything around it a bit bland. Whilst both desserts were ok, two desserts that were both ice cream based in autumn also seemed unnecessary. Just one of those would have been enough. Overall the price seemed a little high for the experience. Though the service was good and atmosphere/restaurant, but I couldn’t say I would recommend to a friend.

                    Wonderful 3 course menu but go for the extra course. But beware the tea. $19 for tea seemed off the charts to me.

                    Hadn't been for too long but I've always more than enjoyed Naro. My return outdid all earlier in every way. My words are inadequate to express our joy. An attractive spot, I'm tempted to call the chef a genius. Using finest ingredients, showing the highest level of inventiveness and beautifully plated, every bite of all 7 courses was extraordinary. Service matched the lofty level of the food. Fine wine list, with prices by NY's outrageous markups is fair. A memorable evening and can't wait to return.

                    Selected the a la cart option for my first time at Naro. The taste and presentation of the food is superb. However, it is clear the prix fixe is the preferred option at this restaurant and a la carte diners are relegated to a subpar experience. While the staff are friendly and well-trained. A la cart diners are relegated to sit outside the restaurant on the “terrace” which can be charitable compared to dining at a Cheesecake Factory in the food court at the mall. The “terrace” shares a hallway with tourists visiting the Rockefeller ice rink. The wait staff was polite and knowledgeable but clearly exhibited the nervousness and lack of confidence of the “B Team”. The cocktails were well crafted and tasted great. The main courses arrived with an explanation and description of the dish but arrived in 3 shifts for 4 diners with what could only be described as an uncomfortable and noticeable delay between visits. I would highly advise against a la cart at this restaurant.

                    Our food, service, timing between courses, and the setting were all perfect for a special occasion we were celebrating. The locally brewed makgeolli was a distinct touch that felt both traditional and contemporary, and it augmented how we experienced the food. Other elements of the dishes also felt distinct to Korean cuisine, allowing details to shine through. The food was very inventive and seemed appropriate for the season. The service was remarkable and made it so comfortable to celebrate a special evening here. The restaurant was very calm on a weekday night, normal dinner time. We'll be back either to try another season's menu or the a la carte options.
