Today I brought my mum to Harrods for a visit! After that, we went to a popular Nanyang cuisine restaurant called Nanyang Blossom across the street.
👩🍳
This restaurant has a fine dining style and uses excellent ingredients. The head chef, Daren Liew, has 25 years of culinary experience
✨
The ambiance is very nice, with elegant décor, making it suitable for business dinners or dates. We ordered one starter, two main courses, and two side dishes, though the portions of the side dishes were quite large.
🍅
Complimentary appetiser: Pickled plum cherry tomatoes, which were sweet and sour and very appetising.
🥗
Lettuce wraps with stir-fried vegetables: This vegetarian starter was fresh and light, with a good taste. It can be paired with their Southeast Asian-style spicy sauce.
🐷
Iberico pork: Highly recommended! Tender and juicy Iberico pork paired with rich sauce and delicious mushrooms, perfect with rice.
🐙🦐
Signature seafood fried rice: A must-order. The portion is very large, enough for two people. The rice is full of wok hei, paired with giant black tiger prawns, Canadian lobster, and octopus tentacles—truly luxurious.
🌱
Baby bok choy: Crisp and tender, refreshing and tasty. Perfect when paired with a bite of Iberico pork.
🍍
Crispy fried beef ribs: Can be enjoyed as a dessert.
🙌
The service at Nanyang Blossom is also excellent. They provide hot towels to wipe your hands before the meal, refill your water promptly, and clear empty plates immediately—very considerate.
