DeeDee Niyomkul, award-winning Chef/Owner of Tuk Tuk Thai Food Loft continues her parents' (Charlie & Nan Niyomkul) legacy with Nan Thai Buckhead, creating innovative traditional Thai cuisine using modern methods that convey the essence and soul of Thailand in every bite.
Chef DeeDee's menu is meticulously crafted to provide a creative interplay of Thai tastes and textures, leading the diner on a gourmet tour of traditional Thai foods inspired by her upbringing.
Nan Thai Buckhead is DeeDee's homage to her parents, and will feature many favorites such as Kai Siam, Lamb Hung Lay, and Crispy Red Snapper - as well as her own signature dishes like Octopus Lemongrass Salad & Wagyu Beef Cheeks in Panang Curry.

    Waitress was truly atrocious at lunch on a slow day. 2 of 3 ordered soup and we had to ask for soup spoons. Glass of Wine order was forgotten - had to be reminded - and all the food staggered out to table at various points….pathetic service especially for the price.

    Overall, very good. It was too dark in the one dining room, so we moved to the other dining room. The Larb was very spicy, which some of our diners light and others didn’t, the menu should indicate how spicy it is. Wine was expensive and some entrees- so only :3 stars in value.

    Best Thai food around! The menu offers a great selection and everything is prepared beautifully and is delicious. The lunch box was a great value and terrific way to sample multiple dishes. Spring roll appetizer and fresh coconut cake both top notch. Beautiful and stylish decor. Hostess and waiter offered warm hospitality and top tier service. Valet parking made arrival and departure quick and easy too

    We had a wonderful server, who explained slight differences in presentation and sauce. ( Sea Bass). Both were incredible. Will return.

    Noting that they are just opened and we didn’t expect perfection: the ambiance and vibe were pleasant as was most of the food, but on top of finding a long black hair in the lamb chop entree, service was spotty. We ordered beers, as the wine prices were way inflated. If they were even competitive, we would have ordered a bottle for sure. We didn’t get the chance to order a second round of beers either, and our water glasses were not refilled until our bill finally arrived.
