   Fantastic dining experience at Musang, as always. It’s probably my favorite restaurant to eat at whenever I visit Seattle. We went on a Saturday night and were promptly seated - highly recommend making a reservation as it was very busy the entire time we were there. For three people, we ordered several starters and shared a main: - daing na talaba (smoked oysters) - kinilaw - mushroom sisig - our collective favorite, especially with garlic rice - ginataang gulay - great recommendation by our server to go with our main - inaloban na isda with whole fried pompano - INCREDIBLE. I hope they keep this on the menu or at least bring it back often. - several orders of garlic rice - hot calamansi tea - ube lemonade soda - it tasted like an ube cream soda! But not too sweet They have a seasonal menu and our server mentioned it was the last week for the current menu. We appreciated the number and variety of vegetarian options (not always the case with Filipino restaurants). Everything was delicious but we all agreed the mushroom sisig and inaloban na isda were the best of the best. We walked out so full and happy, only wishing we had more room for dessert. Super friendly staff!

   Mandatory 22% surcharge with the audacity to prompt for a tip on paying. Deceptive and greedy. Won’t return.

   As soon as you enter the restaurant, the scents from the kitchen are mouth-watering and nostalgic. I love going for the yummy food and the hospitality.

   Food was amazing. Dessert was chefs kiss. Staff were amazing (albeit a little slow to come around sometimes). Had a perfect holiday family reunion meal and left slightly uncomfortable in our stretchy pants :)

   We really enjoyed our visit to Musang, and it is well worth the effort to book the reservation ahead of time (they tend to fill up!). The waitress helped us understand the menu and offered a lot of details about the flavors and dishes. The food was incredible with many different flavors and textures unlike anything we had ever tasted. The restaurant was very full, and the seating was tight and open (no booths etc), so the noise level was a bit high due to so many people talking in the room. All the staff were highly knowledgeable and took pride in their work and sharing the amazing food they make. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants a top-notch culinary adventure showcasing the very best of Filipino cuisine. I gave four stars for value because it was more expensive than anticipated - I had brought a gift certificate thinking it would cover most of the meal for 2 and we easily spent more than twice the value of the certificate. (We did order a couple fancy drinks though.) The food is definitely high quality but I did feel the prices were a little high.

   Filipino food might not be for me. However, the short ribs were bland. This is not a cuisine issue. The dish was $48 and bland - even with the sauce. Overall, the value is terrible. I understand costs are increasing these days but for $65pp (3 dishes for 2 people including an appetizer), you can get a LOT better in Seattle and most cities. I’m glad I tried it but will definitely not be coming back
