Mrs Potato's unique concept and great flavors quickly became a success in 2015 when it was featured on Fox35. As business continued to grow, it attracted more and more locals becoming a “hole in the wall”. National recognition came in May 2017. We were featured on Foodnetwork. Guy Fieri was blown away by the simplistic, yet explosive flavors this little joint had to offer. Since then, it has won many awards, and has been well reviewed by the most respectable food critics and bloggers from all central Florida and the US. If the idea of having a delicious and satisfying comfort meal, in an inviting Mom and Pop atmosphere suits you, Mrs Potato is the place to go. I discovered this place a couple years ago and everytime I come in town for work (4-6 times a year) this is my spot! I even book my hotel near by so its an easy drive after work. With all the corporate big restaurants around that put out microwave garbage this place produces homemade goodness. This past trip I was here for 10 days and went 4 times. Even took my bosses this go round and they would have ridiculed me forever if it wasn't as good as I told them. They all gave me 10/10. And the staff is not only friendly but happy and energetic.

Mrs. Potato has been on our “to visit” list for several years but something always came up to stop us. So glad we finally made it. The food was prepared perfectly and was delicious. The service was excellent. It is obviously a local hang out. We will be back.

First timers should try a rosti and some Brazilian sides. That’s what we normally get. Seasonally they offer a soup buffet and the lasagna soup was so good. Heart of palm soup and chicken and vegetable soup also very good. The soups can change weekly. The restaurant has limited indoor seating but they have a covered patio with fans or heaters depending on the time of year. The Caipirinha is really good here. Staff is bilingual.

Was great find, menu has a lot more then expecting just by the name. Had a group of 6 and everyone found something they enjoyed.
