Chapel Street Windsor welcomes Mr. Miyagi, a brilliant Japanese restaurant serving contemporary Japanese dishes complimented by Japanese inspired cocktails, Japanese Whisky and iced tea, along with an impressive beer and wine list.

Mr. Miyagi’s approach to dining is smart. The menu has been cleverly composed and is easy to navigate, consisting of round one, round two, round three. The idea is to select different dishes from the three rounds, encouraging people to share and take advantage of the diverse menu options.

The relaxed and hip vibe of Mr. Miyagi is enhanced by the open kitchen where the Sushi chef serves up crisp, fresh sushi and sashimi.

    It was for my daughters 16th Birthday and the dessert had a special birthday message on the plate. The waitresses were amazing gorgeous girls. One blonde girl I think Abbey was her name was so very helpful and smiled all night.

    The food was average, not fresh, too much mayo in the salmon tacos. I've been a few times, the food has been different every time. The restaurant was loud, hard to hear people.

    Everything was good except the music volume. It was far too loud. I know restaurants think loud music gives off a good vibe but why should one have to strain to hear what the people at your table are saying? It’s so frustrating and exhausting. I’ve travelled a lot overseas and this loud music thing doesn’t happen in other countries.

    Our first time at Mr Miyagi was brilliant. Beautiful food, generous proportions, impeccable service. We’ll be back! Highly recommended!!

    Great food, cocktail menu could definitely be better! Adding more options would benefit the business as the atmosphere and dynamic of the restaurant have that ambience of having a good time with food and drinks. EG: rock sugar Melbourne are known for great food but their big choice of cocktails is why people go back which makes it quirky and fun for diners who love to try new things

    Absolutely loved this place. Had a big group of 6 girls and there wasn’t one complaint. The food was amazing, especially the salmon taco and miso mushroom bao. Plus Frose was a big hit. Also we had a few girls with dietary requirements and all the staff were happy to adapt the feed me menu for them.

    Pros - Food and service was great! Awesome vibe and atmosphere! Choice of music was bomb! Cons - Music was way too loud! We could hardly hear each other speak.
