   Service was slow with place understaffed. Biggest issue was food, though. Everything was so salty. Every dish. I don’t write reviews, ever…had to write one. Food was bad.

   Appeared to be understaffed as our server was covering a number of tables. I ordered mahi mahi only to be told later it was unavailable. That was obviously disappointing. Overall food was decent but overpriced

   Our party of 3 found Moxie to be inviting and modern. The menu had something for everyone. The calamari was tender and the 2 sauces served were a perfect compliment to the dish. The brussel sprouts were incredible! We had the blackened chicken sandwich, ramen and the steak frites. BRAVO Moxie!

   Food and service was great. My only complaint was that it was very cold in the building. It was like eating outside in 40 degree weather.

   Food was good. Large variety on menu. A little more “sports bearish” vs nice restaurant but food and service were good

   The food and ambience were amazing. The service was subpar. The waitress took forever to come over and when asked if she had something, she immediately said “NO” rudely, without attempting to search or ask about the item. The server was young and poorly trained. She was the only drawback to an otherwise exceptional experience.

   Met at Moxie’s for a business dinner. The quieter atmosphere allowed us to converse freely without raising our voices. The concise menu enabled us to make selections quickly so we could proceed with the purpose of the meeting without delay. The food and drinks were good overall. The bourbon sour was a standout. They were only two things that were a little offputting. First, the calamari appetizer was more than half fried shrimp. The other is that the entryways to the bathrooms don’t have doors . I thought I was walking into a women’s restroom with a split entrance. I went to the left and happened upon the urinals and was enormously grateful no one was using them.  Overall, Moxies suited the needs for a casual business dinner.

   I walked in at 5:50 for a 6pm reservation and there was no host/hostess up front. There was a sign that said "Please wait to be seated", so I waited. 13 minutes later (I timed it) someone came up front and asked if I was here for "the reservation" and tried to sit me at this huge long table. I had a reservation for two at 6pm. So we clarified that and sat down. It took the actual server another ten minutes to come see us and take drinks and order appetizers. That literally was the last time we saw our server for over 30 minutes! The restaurant had one or two other tables at this time, a bartender, a host/hostess and a manager. Looked like two other servers were on the floor chatting in the back. A larger group came over by the bar that was all together and ordered drinks and when the manager/server finally gave us some attention (I had to interrupt her keying in orders) they used that as the excuse. I'm sorry-theres NO EXCUSE for poor service at an upscale restaurant in Plano, Tx on a slow night. Never. Not even at a low caliber restaurant. Moxies is supposed to be a luxury/upscale casual dining restaurant and their prices certainly reflect that. Poor service ensued by leaving our original plates from our appetizers (3 large plates) on the table until our entrees came out. It was a horrible dining experience. The ONLY reason why we left any tip at all is we actually felt sorry for our server who the manager or host said she pulled off our table to take care of the larger group, which again you shouldn't make excuses. I'd like a refund, this was a less than acceptable experience and I will not return.
