   Food, service, and ambiance were excellent. Our waiter took the time to share historical facts, all while providing great service. I had the pork shank, which was huge and prepared perfectly. My friends had the sea bass and the Red. Snapper, which they allowed me to sample. Both were prepared to perfection. We will definitely go back during our next visit to San Miguel de Allende.

   Pésimo trato y respeto por la reservación que hicimos con un mes de anticipación, decidieron aceptar un evento un día antes y nos querían mandar a comer a la alberca cuando nosotros recibimos amigos de Inglaterra y queríamos la degustación. Mal, mal, mal ….. No los recomiendo NADA.

   What a beautiful hotel and restaurant! We sat outside and it was so peaceful and the food was amazing. Delicious food and so many great choices. Huge portions!! The bar outside is beautiful too. We did ask for the music to be turned up for a dance party and they did do it !! We even got other to partake and dance with us. So much fun for our last evening! This is not a rooftop place but a gorgeous patio!!

   Como todo lo que sale de la mente y la cocina de Vicente Torres, la comida es ¡excelente! Los que sufrimos cuando cerró el Garum en CDMX y que pensamos lo habíamos perdido, nos encantó encontrarlo ahora en este precioso lugar en San Miguel de Allende. El restaurante muy agradable, si bien los asientos en el banco/sofá quedan muy bajos y son un poco incómodos. Buen ambiente, agradable iluminacion y decoración apropiada al hotel en el que se encuentra. Muy céntrico y bien localizado, necesitan mejorar su sistema de reservaciones, La nuestra, solicitada para las 8 pm, ¡la tenían para las 8 am! Por suerte lalamos para preguntar si había lugar para estacionar y pudimos corregir el error. Otros comensales que llegaron casi al mismo tiempo, estaban anotados para dos días después. El servicio muy amable pero muy distraído. Estaban llenos y se veían totalmente sobrepasados. Si aspiran a estar siempre llenos, tienen que estar a la altura de la cantidad de comensales. Sabemos que explicar los platos de Vicente no es sencillo pero nuestro mesero de plano no se sabía la mitad de lo que tenía que presentar. Igual no estaba al tanto de lo que quedaba disponible en cocina. La amabilidad no lo es todo, necesitan eficiencia. Regresaremos sin duda, sobre todo para poder experimentar su menú de degustación, que en este caso, con prácticamente todos los tiempos salvo uno, con pescado y marisco, no era viable para nosotros, ya que mi esposa es alérgica a estos alimentos y no era posible adaptar casi todo el menú. También necesita atención su carta de vinos. Muy pobre en oferta y variedad, aunque se agradece no exageran en el precio. Detalles que ojalá atiendan, porque esa cocina y este chef merecen tener un restaurante de 10.

   Arguably the best dining experience in San Miguel and …well, peerless when it comes to the chef’s creativity and impeccable service of the staff. An absolute epicurean joy. No, I am not being paid. Just love food and appreciate beauty when I see it.

   Overall we had a really nice dinner at Moxi which is located in a cute boutique hotel with a nice quiet vibe which we appreciated. The bread and complimentary lobster bite were to die for. Insanely good. We got the tuna carpaccio and shrimp ceviche and both were quite good. My husband got the fillet which was excellent although the sauces didn’t seem right somehow. I got the burger which wasn’t great although as American’s were not used to grass fed beef patties and they we just not great to be honest. So that was more my fault. I’ll know better next time. Good fries though! I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could. Worth trying if you’re looking for a nice quiet upscale dinner.

    The wait staff and hotel staff are all wonderful. The setting is beautiful and relaxing. We went for our anniversary because we thought it would be special. Both fish dishes we ordered were unimpressive, the sauce on the sea bass was unappetizing and the fish overcooked. They didn’t have the lamb on the menu which my husband would have ordered. It was just very disappointing.
