   Our waiter was over extended and did not take our families food allergies seriously. We asked for clarification about several things and he didn’t bother to follow up. He gave us more excuses than he did services. Our entrees came out before we finished the appetizer, because the appetizer took so long to come out. We ordered a glass of wine with dinner and he forgot to bring it out. We ran out of time because the service was so slow that asked to have our desserts boxed up but never got them because we couldn’t wait around any longer. I would not recommend this place for a special holiday meal.

   We were very concerned that the prefixed menu was never posted. But having been to Morrissey's in the past I gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't cancel the reservation. The Service and the food was excellent. My wife had the Chateaubriand and I had the Rack of Lamb. Both meals were hot, large portions, cooked perfectly. Morrissey's made our Christmas eve dinner a night to remember.

   As always the food and service was impeccable. The noise level made socializing difficult, but it is the holiday season and many people were there for drinks.

   Great time‼️Also, we had a birthday and they served complementary Birthday Martini,Champagne and dessert. The entertainer sang Happy Birthday 🎈

   Great time as always took a friend to lunch for her first visit! The Pastrami from Carnegie Deli is the best!

   We were greeted with chipper front of house and server, but with uninformed offerings. The website clearly says that lunch is available every day but we were limited to brunch-- the beverage menu was out of date and the food menu did not convey the accurate types of ingredients in the food. Lastly, we made a note to inform the staff we were celebrating a special occasion (wedding band shopping), and we seated next to a very loud holiday gathering. Nothing against merry guests, however the seating it tight and it felt like we were a part of their boisterous gathering instead of having a meaning meal for two. Thankfully, the front of house was able to move us elsewhere and we are grateful for their staff's solid service.

   Our brunch food was delicious, especially the sticky bun, which was gigantic. The service was great as well.

    We visited Morrissey's for Thanksgiving, and it was a disappointing meal. We had a very long wait of about 20 minutes or more between appetizer and entree. The entree came out cool, not hot. The restaurant served some kind of turkey roll, rather than freshly sliced turkey and a second kind of turkey that was a mystery meat. The worst part was Swiss chard that had not been cooked correctly and came out slimy and chewy. Ick. And this mediocre meal in a noisy bar came with a price per person of $90. This restaurant needs a lot of work.
