Atlas Restaurant Group presents Monarque, a French brasserie located in Baltimore’s Harbor East. Monarque is inspired by the French era of prosperity when culture boomed and extravagance flourished. The cuisine is complemented by a beverage program with over 500 French wine labels and an extensive collection of Cognac and Armagnac.

Transporting guests to another time and place while being rooted in the present, Monarque hosts a rotation of acts every weekend, with Baltimore's best jazz musicians, cabaret vocalists, burlesque dancers, and more.

Monarque welcomes guests of all ages Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the experience is suited for guests 18 years of age and older, and only adults are permitted to dine.

When making your weekend reservations, please note that parties of 1-5 guests will have two hours to enjoy our cuisine and entertainment, parties of 5-8 will dine for two hours and 30 minutes, and parties of 9 and more can enjoy seating for three hours.

    This was our second time going. The menu changed and was very limited than before. Only 2 fish options and the steak options weren’t great. Appetizer options were sub-par and only 3 dessert options. Entertainment is always good. Great, strong drinks. Excellent service. There definitely needs to be a menu revamp.

    The food was delicious and the service attentive. The major drawback of this place is how loud it is. I expect the music to be loud when the band is playing but when they are on their break the piped in music was blaring. I was sitting next to my dining companion and we couldn't hear each other speak. It was a miserable experience. I also don't understand why the interior designers of restaurants refuse to incorporate soft surfaces to dampen the noise level. We wanted to stay for dessert but we all had a massive headache because of the extremely loud noise levels. Needless to say, I won't be back. I don't mind a very energetic atmosphere, but this was ridiculous.

    Took my husband there for his birthday dinner on a recommendation. Drinks were great as well as the appetizers. However, we found the entrees to be overpriced and under seasoned. Service from our waitress was top-notch however.

    Absolutely perfect in every way. Our new favorite restaurant. Best mussels we have ever had. Smoked salmon was outstanding. Apple and caramel dessert was out of this world. Thank you!!!

    Excellent dining experience as always. Went here with a friend to catch up and since it was a week night it was not crowded or loud so it was perfect for dinner conversations. The staff were excellent and we were checked on several times by the management as well ! The bone marrow is a must try.

    Waitress was very slow and often forgot things we requested. The place is extremely loud bc of the music so I wouldn't recommend for a first date. The food was pretty good and the ambiance was really nice. A little dark but I enjoyed the atmosphere. They need to have a higher stage as it is not easy to see the performers unless you are close to the stage. People are waking and sitting in the way of your view. It took away from the experience. Hopefully they fix that. Overall I would say 6/10

    We took our daughter here for her 21st birthday and she was more than impressed. They went above and beyond in showing that her special night was important. Everyone said Happy Birthday, the singer had a special conversation with her, and then we were “VIP’d” to the speakeasy next door for a night cap. The Monarque is absolutely amazing. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch! Thank you!
