Welcome to Monto restaurant and steakhouse. Established in 2015, and nestled in the heart of bustling Camden Street Dublin Ireland , we are a local eatery serving succulent steak, delectable pasta, mouth-watering fresh fish and exquisite hand tossed wood fire pizza. Enjoy lunch, weekend brunch, evening dinner or just swing by and say hello. Parents will enjoy our kids menus, and the delicious joys from our set menu specially prepared by our master chef. Bring your own bottle At Monto, we do not hold a license to sell alcohol and as such offer a bring your own policy on any wine, champagne, prosecco or bottled beer.

NOTE: Please note that a corkage fee of €4 per bottle of wine and €1.50 per bottle of beer applies.

The prices have gone very expensive. €12 for garlic bread. The place was very cold one of our party had to put on her jacket. The waitress was friendly service was good. Food was only average. Not as good as used to be not sure I would return. Best part €5 corkage to BYO your wine.

Booked for Valentine's - seemed all open table bookings were put downstairs in the dungeons. Clean - but very cold with no music. A handful of other couples left within 10 minutes being seated. Upon arrival, there were two plastic bottles of water at each table with no glasses. No drinks menu available and we were given a set menu (35e) to order from. Food was fine and waiter was pleasant but visibly stressed - sticking labels to tables to track table numbers. Staff were having difficulty getting the right orders to the right tables. Might be a nice spot under normal circumstances but this experience left us feeling as if we were having money squeezed out of us.

Waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, the only thing we managed to eat was the starter. The main course was absolutely awful—completely inedible. To top it all off, we were charged over €90 for a dinner for two, which was beyond outrageous given the quality and experience. Honestly, this place is not worth the wait, the price, or the disappointment. Won’t be returning!

I booked a dinner in advance and even arriving 10 minutes before my reservation time I left the restaurant without the main meal it doesn’t matter if it was Valentines Day. If your restaurant has capacity for 50 people only, please don’t increase for 150. 1 hour and half for a starter.

It was all a bit average, the pathetic 6 rings of calamari and small pieces of shell mixed into the seafood pasta were not a good surprise!

The food was excellent; service was prompt and friendly. I had a nice chat with one of the staff members afterwards. There was a rather large and lively gathering at the next table over, however; people preferring quiet might be better off somewhere else.

Greeted by amazing staff member , made our experience a lot more enjoyable and comfortable. Food was amazing, only very very small downfall was the Brie wasn’t warmed through, still so tasty regardless. Menu had amazing prices for Dublin , such a large variety of dishes to choose from also and one of the best steak main courses I’ve ever had. Thankyou for a fab evening.
