Mita's, the second restaurant from acclaimed Chef Jose Salazar, is named after his Colombian grandmother - his "Mita." The beautiful 130 seat restaurant designed by MSA Architects is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati at the corner of Fifth and Race Streets on the ground floor of the 84.51 Building. Mita's eclectic, farm inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin America, with tapas, ceviches, cured hams, cheeses and large plates.

    We love this restaurant and finally got around to trying the paella. It was the best ever!! The most fabulous, flavorful, perfectly spiced rice, mixed with chorizo, moist chicken, jumbo shrimp, octopus, and clams . I can’t wait to go back and have it again! Plus, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the ambience warm and welcoming. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in town!!

    This was our third time dining at Mita’s. We opted for Chef’s choice and each dish brought out delicious. Chef Salazar came out at the end to check in with us. Could not have been more happy!

    The food is always amazing at this restaurant. Finally tried the Paella it was so delicious. Our table had a great evening. We really appreciated Chef Salazar stopping by the table to check on our experience. Hands down tonight was the best service and experience we have ever had at Mitas. What a way to end the year. Cheers and hoping for a wonderful "New Year " Thanks

    Mita’s is always so good, but this experience was just extremely good value for the amount of food and the family style was fun with our little group. Hoping the shrimp can permanently stay on the menu in 2025 - pretty please!

    Tonight we had some of our favorites such as the gambas and patatas bravas, and discovered new delights like the cannelloni . The trio of dessert dishes was delicious. As always, the service was excellent!

    A fabulous experience. The tapas type menu selection is perfect for sharing with family and friends. The food quality and taste were excellent! Great service and ambiance for a date night, special occasion, or just enjoying some tasty eats. We love wine and the wine menu and selections were perfect
