Mita's, the second restaurant from acclaimed Chef Jose Salazar, is named after his Colombian grandmother - his "Mita." The beautiful 130 seat restaurant designed by MSA Architects is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati at the corner of Fifth and Race Streets on the ground floor of the 84.51 Building. Mita's eclectic, farm inspired menu focuses on both the traditional and modern foods and beverages of Spain and Latin America, with tapas, ceviches, cured hams, cheeses and large plates.

    Delicious food! We have tried several restaurants downtown and this is by far the best one! We love the small portions so you can try multiple things. The plantains and the sliders were our favorite.

    Love this place! The food is outstanding! Loved the cheeses and almonds, the shishito peppers, paella, tostones y guacamole, pulpo and the fried pork belly tacos. Also their old fashioned is quite tasty!

    What a beautiful experience. Wonderful food and cocktails, great service, nice casual but never stuffy or pretentious. Our server was wonderful, the food was paced perfectly, and the bill (with cocktails and beers) was barely more than DoorDashing carry out. Thanks to Jose & Ann Salazar and their team for blessing our city with their passion and talent.
