Located on Mission Street between Ocean Ave & 7th Ave, in Carmel California. Mission Bistro Restaurant is owned by Shaheen Alnuaimi. Our history-rich location is warm, charming, and above all cozy. We offer brunch, lunch, dinner, local, and import wines. Chef Matt Zimny sources from Monterey and Santa Cruz County farms and ranches with the goal of serving what is fresh and currently available. Really a great place. Not a large menu which I like because they focus on what they do best. Food is locally grown and sourced. A lot of organic and real foods, although they don’t want to fall into that farm to table cliché. I was talking to I think the owner and he was very humble about not marketing his restaurant that way but just have good food that is healthy for all to enjoy. I thought it was great and will be back! Aloha from Hawaii.

The food and wine that we selected was excellent! Service was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and will be coming back on our next trip, for sure!

Celebrated our Anniversary and the evening was great. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and very nice. The restaurant was nicely decorated. Thanks again for a great dinner.

A truly great meal. Service was spot on and the food was fresh and locally sourced. Not an expansive menu but something for everyone and the chef was clearly visible in the open kitchen. I must return for sure.

We had an outstanding dinner at Mission Bistro, after the Carmel Christmas Tree Lighting celebration! Our meals, the service and the ambiance were excellent. Looking forward to returning to Mission Bistro soon!

We had a great night at Mission Bistro. The food—bread service, crab cakes, and spicy mussels apps, swordfish and bouillabaisse mains—was outstanding. The mussels were among the best I have had anywhere. The portions were very large. The service was helpful and attentive, but not intrusive. It was very quiet on a Saturday night, though I forget how early diners eat in Carmel. We definitely will return on our next visit to Carmel.
