Food was really very good and portion size more than enough, service was excellent and prices were comparable. My group really enjoyed themselves.

Complete lack of service… understaffed and inattentive. Very disappointed in terms of customer care. Can’t even speak about the food because we were never served and ended up leaving after 30mins of waiting at our table. No drinks. Not even water and never even met a server

I love fried chicken and really wanted to try the fried chicken at Miss Toya’s Southern Kitchen. Man was it ever disappointing. I have to say Popeye’s is better. It was quite salty for my taste. Same with the spinach side and fried rice was a mistake.

Salmon bites were too salty, lamb chops too spicy (tasted like A1 sauce with a bunch of scotch bonnet peppers), and the birthday person got sick. On the bright side, the fried chicken was great. We only had water to drink, and our bill for 2 came to 89.??. We don't mind paying for great food, but not sure that we will go back.

This was my first time at this location. It was subpar to the location in Silver Spring. The steak and cheese rolls were messy with a hard roll. My shrimp and grits were very runney. I was a little embarrassed because I raved about the Silver Spring location to my colleagues, and they were not happy with their food at all. The manager was nice and he gave me a free dessert. My colleague requested home fries in place of the grits because the grits were very salty. I hope that this location will step up like the Silver Spring location.

Amazing food and ambiance. Waiter, Yusef, was spectacular. He gave great recommendations and was on top of our needs the entire dinner. It was the first time visiting and we will definitely go back!

Wish the tea was refillable but you have to purchase every time. Good food and good vibe.
