I’ve eaten here twice and both times I feel like I paid a lot for food that was just OK. The zafrrani rice was cold and tasted bad, we requested a hotter rice and it came out cold again. The milk cake was really dry. A lot of the dishes for the Valentine’s Day meal just didn’t quite stick the landing. Great cocktails, service, and ambiance though.

The ambience of the restaurant was wonderful. The low lightning set the stage for a nice experience. Our waiter was a bit too talkative and didn’t really allow us to say much. The appetizers stole the show! The flavors were incredible and everything worked well together. Mocktails were decent. The main dishes were also decent. Pork chop was a bit dry and the potatoes were under seasoned. The beef nihari had a lot of flavor but the beef felt a little under seasoned. The couscous was perfect and the peas in it were amazing. Did not have room for dessert but our waiter warned us against some of them which was a first in a restaurant experience.

Excellent special evening. I asked for an added couple of glasses of bubbles as we arrived and it was handled perfectly. Food was excellent with the great combo of familiar Indian flavors with a new twist added making each dish unique. Also vegan options were superb. Highly recommend.

The food was excellent, the ambiance was pleasant, and the noise level was minimal. Although the service was somewhat slow, the overall presentation was commendable.

I had dinner with a large group tonight. The food was good, although on the pricier side, but the service not so much. We reserved for a party of 13 but we had last-minute cancellations so it was a group of 11. On opentable, it says for no-shows or cancellations less than 24 hr in advance, they charge $10pp. No where does it specify that if you have missing people in your party, you’ll be charged the $10 for that missing person. So we were surprised with an extra $20 charge, which we disputed with the manager and she threatened to call the cops and telling us it’s on the website because we didn’t think we should pay that fee. And they added an extra order of a dish. When we said we only ordered one of that specific dish, the waiter who brought it put it down and said “we’ll figure it out.” He didn’t come back to take it back or ask us if we want to eat it. We got charged for that dish as well so we disputed that and the manager said she can’t comp us anything. Our bill was $1200! That was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant of that level. I expect better when you charge $16 for a very tiny slide of cake! Do better. You don’t charge that much for that kind of service.

Wow! Amazing! Delicious! Elegant! Truly a special meal. From the delicious herbal tea to the cauliflower appetizer (nice spice and so crisp!) to the Dal Mahkani to the green curry to the butter chicken....all of it was exquisite! Thank you for balancing our vegan and omnivorous table and for packaging the left overs so beautifully. I cannot wait to return!!
