We are open! Come and join us and check out our beautiful new bar and dining area.
The foundation of good Italian cooking is the freshest of ingredients prepared with simplicity, bringing together flavors so no one ingredient overpowers another. Mimmo’s Italian roots begin in his hometown of Bagheria, Sicily. The fresh fruits and vegetables picked from his family’s farm were on the table, or tavola, that night. Our logo of the lemon and lemon flower, or zagara, is a symbol of Sicily’s rich history of growing and exporting lemons, and a reminder of Mimmo’s many memories of lemon picking in his grandfather’s groves. APRIL 30TH 2012 WAS OUR OPENING DAY.

    How good is the food? We ate there Monday and again Friday (Valentine's Day) We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed different dishes each time and thought each of them was wonderful. This last visit, our server, Jan, recognized us and expressed her pleasure at our return. Moreover, when she brought the desserts we had ordered, she also treated us to an amazing chocolate mousse as a thank-you for returning so soon. Do yourselves a favor and dine at Mimmo's

    Greetings at the door, to the waiter, chefs and assistants all out standing. We had the Veal Scallopini delicious with a good size portion. For dessert we had the tiramisu. It was amazing. Melted in your mouth. Definitely will be going back. Delicious food, nothing but praise to Mimmo’s. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end.

    First visit to Palm Desert and Mimmo’s, really enjoyed it. One of the best wedge salads ever; the housemade bleu cheese and prosciutto bacon really made the difference. My sand dabs and the tapenade were great; my husband’s branzino, the evening special, was a bit bland for his taste. Rob, our server, was personable and attentive without being a pest, which added to our enjoyment of the evening.
