   Our wonderful , kind waitress was very thoughtful as we celebrated our granddaughter’s third birthday.

   Sat near the kitchen so saw lots of appetizing food go by. We ordered from the all day breakfast menu and our poached eggs were done to perfection. The server Mary was delightful.

   Food was awful! I ordered Short Rib Brisket. It was hard, fatty, and looked uncooked. I sent it back and got a beef dip, it was better, but very dry. Never again Mimi's!

   Went for brunch with a friend. The restaurant is clean and staff friendly. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I had the cinnamon roll French toast, bacon and scrambled egg. The eggs were moist and the bacon not to crispy ( the way I like it)

   Came here to reunite with former coworkers. The restaurant lacks decor unlike the vibrant New Orleans style of yesteryears. I ordered the pot roast and was royally disappointed. It is not the recipe from the late 80s. The pot roast I was served was extremely salty, the meat and carrots were undercooked. I couldn’t eat it and didn’t want to send it back because there was 5 others in my party. What happened?! I was disappointed. Go back to your old recipes.

   Food was worse than previous experience. Beef dip had one, maybe two, pieces of meat which was tasteless and sandwich was basically just bread. Disappointing at best.

   We took my mother-in-law here for Mother’s Day lunch and they were ill-prepared for the onslaught of customers that day. Even with reservations, we and countless others had to wait an additional 30 minutes to be seated, which can be hard on seniors. The food was great but the restaurant was so crowded at both tables and in the lobby, that it was not a comfortable environment. Our server didn’t come around very often either. Overall, I think Mimi’s is probably fine on a regular day, but they just couldn’t handle a special event, which disappointed us all.
