With its unique setting perched atop a waterfall in Simsbury, Connecticut, Millwright’s invites guests to dine in the 17th century mill with acclaimed, James Beard nominated Chef Tyler Anderson and his team. Featuring daily-chosen farm ingredients, the freshest and most select product, proprietary cocktails, and exciting wine menu, Millwright’s offers a new experience to the Farmington Valley farm-to-table dining scene. The culinary team understands the impact of the highest-quality fresh ingredients. Millwright’s kitchen thrives on local ingredients – grown, raised, produced, foraged and prepared – whenever possible. They also take the farm-to-table concept one step further. Millwright’s has partnered with a farm that will grow most of its organic produce.     Server was okay felt like he was trying to get us to order more expensive items for his tip. No bread and salad was not the best for 14.00 as well as the 4 oz martini for 17.00. Main entree was amazing! We were sat in the corner with not much of a view. Provably won’t go back.

    We had a very special and delicious dinner. I recommend the tuna tartar and the slow oven roasted salmon. The service was impeccable. We love the ambience in this old building, and the view of the (frozen) water fall.

    Beautiful restaurant with romantic vibes. Food is divine, delicious drinks and excellent customer service. We were celebrating a birthday and Millwright’s had many nice touches including a hand written birthday card to start the experience. I highly recommend this experience because it is much more than just a restaurant.

    We had an amazing experience celebrating our son's 18th birthday. We ordered the chef's tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed every course that was served to us. The wait staff was outstanding and the food was delicious.
