“Mi Vida” translates to “My Life.” However, in Mexico, “Mi Vida” means much more. “Mi Vida” is a term of endearment bestowed on close family and friends to signify love, care and importance. When one says, “Mi Vida,” they are telling someone special how much they mean to them. MI VIDA describes how we feel about our team and our guests. It is our expression of Mexican culture and cuisine as interpreted through the lens of Chef Roberto Santibañez. Our menu is rooted in the history and culinary tradition of Mexico while exploring the ever-changing boundaries of this vibrant and evolving cuisine.

The margaritas were good. I had a frozen passion fruit one and the spicy pineapple special. I really liked the nachos but did not like the tuna (tostada I think?) that much. My husband got enchiladas and really liked them. My kids didn’t really like the kid food options (they got a chicken quesadilla and ate about half) but for adults I think it’s a great spot.

The food and service were excellent. This is a cut above your typical Mexican restaurant. I found the music a little loud which made it a little difficult to talk with my dining companions.

Super loud and super dark inside. Fish tacos way too spicy and the breading over fried Really wish there was no breading! Pasta spicy even though I eliminated the sausage. The waiter asked if we wanted to chips , thought they were complementary until the $14.50 charge ( includes a chunky guac) Drinks so strong, couldn't even get through. We all looked forward to the churros. Like the breaded fish tacos, over fried 😫 Nearly $200 for 3 people, very disappointing experience!

Grabbed a bite to eat after a Caps game. Great everything. Margaritas are small and pricey for the portion. But overall a great place to pre/post game.

Too many strong flavors, especially sour pickling. Too many ingredients that don't really go together. Very disappointed with the food after reading the reviews. I ordered fish tacos which were fine, but the fish was mostly hard breading over small nuggets of fish with a tiny dish of lukewarm black beans. My son ordered the Chamorro and said the meat was very good but the overly fussy sauce was bland and lukewarm. The guac also had too many ingredients. The chips were okay but should have been warm. Generally nice presentation and the corn tortillas were good. The shrimp cocktail had a lot of shrimp but they were smothered with inedible shredded vegetables that were impossibly sour. The location and ambiance are great because I live in the neighborhood, but I won't be returning. Too bad because I hoped it would be a go-to restaurant. My advice is to simplify (and heat) the recipes, instead of focusing on style over substance.

Excellent all around! Enchiladas suizas, guacamole, Tatanachos with chicken, empanadas, coffee flan, and chocolate cake. Excellent, helpful service. Will be back.

We were a large party. The food and atmosphere were good. Our server wasn’t the most attentive. Never really checked in. She forgot someone’s drink for a fairly long time on the first round and also never came back with extra sauces the table asked for when the food first came out. I would probably still come back or check out another location.

Arrived early but no problem for them. Needed to be relatively fast to get to a show and server was great about keeping things moving along.
