   It was impossible to have a conversation for our group of 6. We sat in the middle of the space (dinner) and it was super loud.

   Our visit to Meyhouse in Palo Alto was terrific as always. We have introduced several people to Meyhouse and the reaction is always very positive.

   My friend and I both ordered the prix fixe lunch menu, and we agreed it was a good deal for the quality of the food. Appetizers and mains were especially good. We both had branzino as the entree, plus a dip and dumplings for starters. My baklava for dessert was just OK. My only additional complaint is the upcharge for several items on the prix fixe menu. I ordered an appetizer with an upcharge that I hadn't noticed, and I'd rather that everything was simply offered at the same price, even if it means leaving some items off the prix fixe menu or offering smaller portions. But overall we enjoyed our meal, and in fact, I preferred the lunch experience over dinner given it is a bit quieter in the restaurant and easier to converse.

   Appetizer is amazing, hummus, artichoke and bread is the best. Main lamb chop is nothing special. It is very noisy inside.

   Our waiter, Yannis, immediately recognized us from Meyhouse Sunnyvale which was a nice beginning. Our party of 8 enjoyed the chef’s tasting and all guests enjoyed the variety of dishes. Thanks for a great dinner.

   Experience was better than most other restaurants of comparable menu/price. The entrance to the inside was sort of weird with the black curtains. But all in all I’d like to come back and recommend it to others.

    I took my wife there to celebrate her birthday. Nice attention on the table with a birthday card put by the staff. We decided to go with the tasting menu ($98 per person) as it was our first time and wanted to try many different things. 4 cold appetizers, 2 hot appetizers, 2 main dishes and 1 dessert. Food was really excellent: kopoglu and lakerda were the 2 top cold meze, the octopus (hot meze) was perfect and the lamb chops perfectly cooked and super savory. Only one dessert served for 2 (sütlaç) which was a little disappointing as they have 6 different appetizing desserts on the menu. Service was perfect, very attentive. Only 2 small complaints: -a very noisy table in the middle of the restaurant that raised the noise level for the entire place - we went there at 8 pm (so late for Palo Alto standards) and by 9:15, some of the staff were folding napkins on a counter next to us (preparing for the next day I assume)which seems to indicate that they were ready to close (this is ok in a small family restaurant, not really in a high end establishment). All in all, a very pleasant experience, great food, for a special occasion.
