En Metxcalli nuestra inspiración es Oaxaca, multifacética y vibrante, que nos transporta a un viaje de infinitos aromas y sabores que activa nuestros cinco sentidos y evoca la grandeza de los mercados, la complejidad de sus mezcales y pluralismo de la cultura e identidad.
Nacido en costas oaxaqueñas, el Chef Gerson Madrid experimenta y plasma los colores de los sabores tradicionales, cual pintor a su lienzo y los caracteriza por trazos gruesos de contemporaneidad, llevándonos a través de una aventura de sabores que cuentan con personalidad propia, que nos evocan a nuestra tierra, a nuestra cocina al sur de Oaxaca y a nuestro propio hogar.

    Excelente propuesta para degustar. Comida oaxaqueña con un toque elegante. Deliciosos cócteles con mezcal. El chef viene a tu mesa y es una linda persona. Muy buen gusto en la selección musical y buen servicio

    Estuvo muy rico, la comida muy rica principalmente la garnacha de molleja. Festejamos un cumpleaños y nos trajeron un postre con una copa de vino espumoso. El servicio muy bueno

    Reservé para mi cumpleaños y me encantó el lugar. La comida estuvo deliciosa (pedí los ravioles con langosta y mi familia, el risotto de mariscos y la pesca del día) y tuvieron el detalle de darme un pudín por mi cumpleaños. Todos muy amables también.

    La comida estaba muy mala, y el servicio fue pésimo de cocina pues se tardaron más de 1 hora en traernos solo las entradas, el personal muy amable más el servicio de cocina pésimo

    As non-Spanish speaking tourists, we had some trouble communicating with the wait staff and manager. Food was very good - but we didn’t find the place easy to navigate; the language barrier was an issue.
