Mesu has an incredible atmosphere with such a good mix of two foods I love. The tacos were just as good as the sushi! Their margaritas with their homemade puree were delicious! Highly recommend. The gong tradition is so fun too!

First time here on one of our many trips to Charleston. Kayla, our server was helpful and good. I started with the Japanese Mule along with the Habanero Glazed Edamame. We then really enjoyed 4 sushi rolls all outstanding that were the surf and turf, tsunami, King Street, and Mesu roll. We now found a new spot in Charleston.

Very eclectic place with a nice variety of food that was really tasty. Cocktails were also really good. It’s a loud place with TVs and music and a gong that gets rung at random times so don’t go here expecting a quiet place. Overall great experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by thae great happy hour menu, as we’ve been before but only on weekends. Food was great, waitress seemed a bit annoyed by our questions and it wasn’t busy at the time

The hostess acted like we were an inconvenience. The seats were not clean and the menus were sticky. The food was good but overpriced for what it was. The service from the waitress was excellent though. We won’t be going back.
