   We were overwhelmed by the volume of the dining room noise, the massive flat screen tv showing The Price is Right, the open kitchen where the staff were eating and drinking while working on the food line, and the cotton candy Roman candle TGI Fridays-esq birthday celebrations…and it took 20 minutes for a server to stop by and ask us if anyone had taken our drink order. 30 minutes after that we were asked if anyone had taken our food order (with a half empty restaurant), and then they delivered half our order before presenting us with our check. We left and walked to another restaurant. Definitely not the experience we expected. Hard pass.

   Meril’s offers a terrific range of modern dishes featuring numerous cuisines — and all were well executed. If variety and flavor are two of your goals when dining out, Meril’s should be on your list! Service was excellent.

   Very slow service. Food was good but on the expensive side, especially for the scallop appetizer. Glad to have tried it, but I don’t feel the need to return.

   The food was great. I was a party of 3 for brunch. 2 of us had the burger. The other person had a flatbread. While the was good, all of it did not come out at the same time. This wasn't a deal breaker, but it was a bit strange to get a burger without the order of fries, which was a side order and we could've done with one order vs. 2. So, we had too much. The servers were good. Overall, this was a good visit. One of the things I like about Meril's is that you can have a table of 8 in a round table. There were a few of them there, which may have impacted the slower than usual service.

    Date night. Great food. The sparklers and cotton candy is always a great attraction.
