   As always, wonderful service at Mel’s. The food is outstanding and a good selection of drinks. Nice atmosphere for a speakeasy. Love the gin martini!

   Went with friends before our anniversary dinner to have a few cocktails. The cocktails were very well balanced. The only food we had were the pork rinds, and they were a nice snack. The service was great. I definitely want to go back and try more things.

   Friend and I wanted a place to get dolled up and visit. Went on 9.27.2024. The space is gorgeous and clean. We loved it was not crowded and we could sit anywhere. Music playlist was fantastic-old school hip hop and r&b. Volume was perfect because we could talk and still hear each other and the music. Bartender was spectacular. They made a customized drink for me. There were maybe two-four people there when we arrived. About an hour or so later maybe 11 more people showed up. When we ordered more drinks, I was told the one I requested earlier would take a very, very long time because they didn’t have the alcohol I asked for left. I was told I could order it, but I wouldn’t get it for a long time because of the crowd. However, I was asked if there was anything else on the menu I wanted. I got a drink and it was delicious. When we were provided the bill, the server apologized for being snappy and said they ran out of simple syrup. I didn’t mind they ran out of simple syrup. It just made me think she made up a reason to not request the drink I wanted because they were busy. Just be honest. It just made omit a star for service.

   We have enjoyed Commission Row and one day decided to try Mel’s for cocktails after dinner. The drinks were amazing. Then we decided to try it for dinner as well. If you like complex elevated cocktails and unique recipes, this place is for you. It’s got everything, speakeasy chill vibes, modern decor, friendly and knowledgeable service, professionalism among staff, and delicious cuisine. Please do not order Tito’s and soda or a rum and coke, save that for the game. Do try one of their signature drinks. I had the Chipmunk one, can’t remember the full name but it was incredible, like nothing I’ve had before. My husband and I have tried others and they never disappoint! The food was amazing as well. Smash burger was top notch and the steak frites were perfectly cooked, flavorful and filling! Definitely a great place for drinks and a bite to eat before a Fever game!

   Had drinks and appetizers before dinner. Enjoyed both. Great service. Quiet enough to visit with friends. Perfect if your heading to a Pacers or Fever game

    This is great new spot for cocktails and snacks. Very cool ambiance with classic and modern cocktails. Staff was very helpful and the food was great. Highly recommend for the start or end to an evening.
