Nestled in the heart of downtown Asheville, decorated with carvings, and statues imported from India. Mëhfil brings you authentic Indian food in a beautifully relaxed atmosphere.
Come enjoy a casual meal with friends or a celebration with your loved ones. Either way, you'll be taken care of by our knowledgeable and friendly team. We take pride in what we serve and how we serve it - Good Food and Great Service. We also offer takeout, delivery, catering and in Jul 2023 we have added Mow, Mehfil on Wheels, a food truck serving Mehfil food. Mow is a regular at the local breweries and can even come in to your neighborhood. Our signature dishes include the lamb chops, goat curry, deluxe mixed grill-an assortment of lamb and chicken seekh kebab, tandoori shrimp and lamb chops. No one does the tandoor as good us and our awards are testimony to that.

Thank you for an outstanding dinner. Food and service work perfect. And happy we have real silverware, plates and glasses. We’ll be back soon for sure.

Some very interesting pieces hung on the walls. A few tables closer to the front of the restaurant had table cloths and we re set with flatware and glasses. We were taken to the back of the restaurant where the tables were bare, no cloths no settings. Just not welcoming. Servicewasabit slow,perhaps they were short stsffed. The server was delightful. Food was very good. If all you took from the review was seating area you don’t understand service!

We had the best time introducing a friend who had not been to Mehfil before and sampled a variety of dishes. He loved them all ! The ambiance, food, staff and service are exceptional!

Best Indian food we have found and we travel a lot. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoy date nights here. Can’t go wrong with the lamb chops…they’re amazing!

Always lovely to visit our favorite Indian place in Asheville. This particular evening was simply perfect. Tandoori shrimp and chicken tikka masala were perfect.

Always amazing service, and such wonderful food. So many choices! We really love the lamb, any of the lamb curries. Sitting by the window in the front of the restaurant offers one an incredible people-watching experience!
