   In spite of having a reservation at 9am, food didn’t arrive until almost 10:30am. No heads up that there would be a long wait. Party of 5 ordering basic omelette breakfasts. There is no justification for this, but it’s clear this business is running on a skeleton crew and pretending it’s normal. Guest sitting outside get much less attention than those indoors. These wait times are common, including at the Woodshop as well. As a local who loved this place, it’s maddening to have to book 2 solid hours of my day to get what should be a quick bite. I wonder if it would be different if I ordered take-out and just sat on the patio to eat it.

   Service and food was good but the wait for lunch was 45 minutes. A bit long

   They were clearly short staffed which if handled correctly wouldn't be a negative review. However the staff never explained why everything was slow and why we had to wait 30 minutes to place our order. When drinks arrived one beer was clearly incorrect - ie you can see & taste the difference between a hazy ipa & a double IPA server adamantly insisted it was correct. Food order arrived another 30 minutes after drinks with a side salad vs an entree salad as server never asked upon ordering and side order of bread never arrived. Even though our beer glasses were empty by the time food arrived servers never asked or followed up asking if we'd like another round. 2nd time in last 2 months we've been sorely disappointed by a McMenamins service level which has us questioning whether we'll visit any of the properties again.

   Mcmenamins is an experience unlike any other. The food is wonderful, the employees happy to be there, the music is diverse and not too loud, but the light fiction Stores! Really, no joke they are gorgeous. This place is detail oriented and welcoming. Run don't walk to spend time there!

   We had reservations and were seated quickly. Our server was very friendly, but it took over an hour to get our dinner. Tables around us came and went before we even started eating. It was ridiculous. There was no offer of explanation or anything. Highly disappointed.

   The ambiance is charming, a little dusty in the rafters, but the fireplaces and courtyard are very relaxing. Unfortunately, I cannot review the food because we never got any. We ordered for our small child and fortunately her food arrived in a timely manner. We ordered a bit later and waited about 30 minutes for ours. Our server came back to let us know that there was a problem with the computer and our order didn’t go through to the kitchen but it would be out soon as the kitchen was rushing it out. 30 minutes later still no food and our server avoided our table while we waited. We had no water refills or communication about our order. Considering the time - we waited over an hour with no food - we had to leave. No one apologized and my husband was scolded for bringing our child near the bar while we he was searching for someone to help us pay for the food and coffee we did receive. Mistakes happen, and maybe they were understaffed, I don’t know, but to leave people waiting and not fix the error or communicate is disappointing, to say the least. There were so many ways this could have been handled that would have left us feeling empathetic, but this wasn’t one of them. We won’t be going back.

   The servers are fantastic. The food is almost always slow and in the last year the quality of the food has gone down. The menu and presentation needs an update. It seems like Applebee's quality at an upscale price. I love the vibe there but we rarely eat more than an app anymore.

    Service was poor--table not cleared between courses. Requested items not supplied-straw, silverware, water. Food was okay but not special.
