   The food was good and priced great. I had the rainbow trout and my husband had tuna. Both came with mashed potatoes and broccolini for $28. The calamari was good but a little over cooked for my taste. The disappointment for me was in the service. We had a reservation but when we got there had to wait as there was no hostess for several minutes. When we got seated we ordered water (which we had to request refills several times) and noticed other tables were getting bread - we also had to request and glad we did. It was very good!! We noticed our server was also serving a large party right beside us so attributed the very slow service to that. Overall a good experience just pack your patience.

   Service and food are always good. We go often to this restaurant and it is constantly good. The deserts were a little off tonight in flavor but based on past experience they are usually excellent!

   Pleasantly surprised. I did not expect a chain restaurant to be this good. The tuna tartare and the wagyu carpaccio were outstanding! Service was friendly and attentive, and the vibe was chill. No complaints at all and I will return next time I am in the area.

   We dined at McCormick & Schmick’s for Valentine’s Day, expecting a great experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. We specifically made reservations during happy hour to take advantage of the deals, but we were never offered the happy hour menu. When I inquired, the waiter informed us that the deals were only available at the bar—something that was not stated anywhere on the menu or online. Additionally, we ordered items that were listed on the happy hour menu but were charged full price. While the service itself was good, the lack of clear communication about pricing and policies was frustrating. Our drinks took a long time to arrive, and when my wife and daughter visited the restroom, they said it was in unacceptable condition. The food was another letdown. My spouse ordered the sesame tuna, which was overly fishy, and my daughter’s fried shrimp arrived cold. The side of lobster tasted like nothing but butter. We have dined at this same restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina, and had an amazing experience, so we were expecting the same level of quality. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete 180 from that experience, leaving us disappointed. This was not the Valentine’s Day dinner we had hoped for, and considering the amount of money we spent, it’s not an experience we would want to repeat.

   Large groups of elementary and high school children, presumably from a CNN Center event, were loud and disruptive, and the adults were not much better. Had to move tables twice, then ask the waiter to close the glass panal between us and them, to even be able to hear one another. Service and food were very good, but this experience soured us on the whole place.
