   Unfortunately, my steak was not seasoned well at all. Our food also came out in between cool and lukewarm. This was not my best experience at M&S.

   our server was amazing! i can’t exactly remember his name, but he was the tall guy with the ponytail. excellent service & made sure we were accommodated for the wait on valentines day even though the crowd was to be expected. the valentines day dinner for 2 was well worth the price for the amount of food we received & the dessert was delicious. will definitely be back😊

   Wouldn’t recommend attending this place on a day like Valentine’s Day. The service was 4 out of 10. The food was a 3 out of 10. Wasn’t a good experience at all. We had to wait for an extended period of time for my reservation to be ready. I placed an order of a very basic entree and received a completely different meal. It was my first time visiting this place so it may have just been a “bad day”. That experience is enough for me to know I will never go back to another M&S.

   We made a reservation for valentines date dinner and were seated 45 minutes late for an 8pm reservation after arriving 15 minutes early. We had another reservation at 10 for an event and we didn't get our food (Which ended up being cold) or cocktails till 9:35. When our food arrived we asked for the check immediately so we could try and leave on time and we ate as fast as we could. The whole point of having a double date here was to enjoy our time together and the food and yet we felt rushed the entire time and didn't even get hot food to enjoy. I've eaten at several McCormick and Schmicks in the past and it's always been a lovely experience but maybe for special holidays or busy events it's a hard pass.

   Waiter wasn’t very friendly or attentive. Others sweated before and after received water bread etc before we did. We had to constantly ask other waiters to get us things. Waiter would take plates without asking if we were done etc.

   The experience and food was overall very good. I know they were super busy and it just took 25 minutes after being seated to get a drink then another 5 minutes just to get a straw. Apparently the waiters do not carry straws and have to have someone else bring them out. This process is very unusual and frustrating for me.

    Our Valentine Dinner at M&S was a terrible experience. It started off when hostess was going to seat us in their back room at a table. I mentioned I had made reservations for a cozy private booth. She wanted to seat us at a booth by the window, told her again I had made note to be seated at cozy booth. We were seated at a round booth, not at all what I had wanted. Our bread came out late with our salads. We ordered the Valentine's Dinner for Two. MY husband ordered the Center Cut Filet Mignon (6oz) the order from the menu came with mashed potatoes/Broccolini/M&S Steak Butter, he ordered his Medium well. I ordered Wagyu Sirloin (8oz) the order from the menu came with mashed potatoes/Sauce Au Poivre/ Shallot Confit/Broccolini. The waiter from the kitchen brought out our steaks and he apologized right away saying table waiter had not placed steak knives on table & he would tell him to bring them out. Table waiter hurriedly placed steak knives on out table and left before I could point out my order was not correct. My husbands order was perfectly cooked, mine was not. I was missing the Sauce Au Poivre and the Shallot Confit , my steak was not WELL DONE, it was medium well. My husband had to finally flag the table waiter to come back to our table, I mentioned what was missing, he simply said that would have to be ordered as an accompaniment, I told him to recheck the Valentine's menu, those items that were missing on my plate came the steak. He went back to the kitchen, brought out a small bowl with the sauce, but no Shallots, waiter said he had to go to the kitchen for the side orders. I only ate half of the steak that was medium well without the Shallot Confit. The only things we enjoyed with our meal were the drinks and the Dark Chocolate Bag. Needless to say we will not be going back to M&S for any special occasions.
