   All the food was spectacular. All dishes were shared by my wife and I. We started with the tuna sashimi flight three different types of blue fin. Delicious and enhanced by the homemade wasabi. Second course lobster roll maki. Also delicious. We finished with the Ahi Tuna, which was perfectly prepared. Our server, Kate, was the best, with lots of suggestions and explanations if the food. We will definitely be back.

   Our party of four was seated in the front dining room. The server came quickly and told us the specials but although there was only another table of two in the room the noise from the bar area made it difficult to hear. We ordered drinks and small plate to share while we decided what else to order. Our drinks came and we ordered a few more things to share. Another group of four were seated nearby. After about 30 more minutes they were receiving food and we were still waiting and hadn’t seen our server in a while. Our other food came right after, but still not our original order. I reminded the server and it finally came. The food was fantastic, but because it took so long we decided not to order entrees. For the price, the portions are small, albeit standard sushi size. The restaurant was not busy; the other dining rooms were empty so not sure why the service was so slow. Overall kind of disappointing due to the noise and long wait for food.

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at MC Modern Asian Cuisine, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked into the historical, intimate space, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance—very cozy & welcoming, with a nod to traditional Asian aesthetics that feels fresh and modern.
