   Fuimos a celebrar San Valentín day y fue una bonita experiencia, cuando llegamos nos lavaron las manos con agua y esencias especiales, nos pareció muy acogedor y diferente. Una vez adentro ordenamos el Cholo power (que para nuestro gusto estaba un tono subido de sal) y los anticuchos de corazón que estuvieron realmente deliciosos, de tomar pedimos chicha morada a la cual le tuvieron que colocar un poco de syrup porque no se sentía realmente ese dulcito que la caracteriza pero cuando nos la arreglaron quedó espectacular, también ordenamos el MAYU sour (flight) lo cual nos encantó. Para el mains ordenamos el Tagiatelle a la huancaina con pulpo el cual estaba un poco duro pero el manager se encargó de cambiarnoslo y luego quedó exquisita y el Ducks con arroz norteño que estuvo de locura (súper rico). Es un lugar hermoso, elegante y la atención estuvo 10/10, si volveríamos a ir porque ir una sola vez no es suficiente para probar ese sabor peruano que los caracteriza.

   Authentic and Creative Peruvian Cuisine – A Must-Try! Our visit to this Peruvian restaurant was an absolute delight! The food was upscale, original, and showcased the rich flavors of Peru with a creative twist. The use of imported ingredients from Peru truly elevated each dish, making for an authentic dining experience. A special shoutout to our waiter, Alexander, who went above and beyond to make our first visit memorable. His friendly and knowledgeable approach made us feel welcome, as he took the time to introduce us to the restaurant’s exquisite dishes and unique cocktails. To top it all off, the dessert was absolutely divine—an unforgettable sweet finish to a fantastic meal. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience high-quality Peruvian cuisine!

   We were four people for dinner on a Saturday night and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It is beautifully decorated and we commented how pleasant it was that we were able to have a conversation without shouting. Great accoustics. Our servers were extremely attentive and professional. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and will for sure go back.

   From the service to the quality of the food everything was exceptional. We came for our anniversary and they made everything special as requested. Will definitely recommend and come back here many times moving forward!

   I had an amazing dinner at Mayu. The food was delicious, from the perfectly seasoned appetizers to the flavorful main courses. Our server, Alex, was fantastic, attentive and friendly and the hostess and all the staff were amazing. The cozy yet classy atmosphere made it even better. We ended the night with a dessert that was absolutely unforgettable. Can’t wait to go back!

   Lovely setting, but difficult getting up the stairs for disabled couple. We arrived early but they were excellent to get us seated. We ordered calamari which ranged from tender to very chewy. Then on to the grilled octopus which my husband really liked. The drinks we disliked, and without much alcohol. Service was good, until two large groups arrived, then we were forgotten. We might have ordered more if they had asked. Took forever to get the bill. But our server helped us out the back door where there were no stairs.

    Love this place. I’ve been twice with my project team and just took my wife - the service is super friendly and the food is fantastic. We love Peruvian food in general, and Mayu’s take on many classics dishes (like the lomo saltado with a side of pumpkin ravioli was a real treat!) is top shelf. The cocktails are also impressive. My wife’s signature cocktail was actually served with a half oyster shell and pearl on top. Classy! And, make sure you order the dessert they set set of fire - another fantastic treat!
