   I have always loved this place for its unique setting and delicious menu. However, our recent meal experience was not as as good. We had the The beef tartar and the chicken roulade and fish. The beef tartar looked like a raw beef patty and served with french fries, haha…cute, however it lacked flavor and actually tasted like raw meat…not a very pleasant taste and on the dry side…should be juicier.. The chicken roulade was over cooked. The halibut fish needed some kind of side dish! It was served just leeks and a bit of sauce. There food is not as good as it used to be. We heard they have a new chef!

   Our mains were okay but the menu is limited and you can't even order regular sugarfree iced tea as a beverage. The desserts said the chef doesn't want to do desserts so let's make the choices terrible. We won't be going back.

   Another great experience at Maynard’s. Lily was an excellent server. We loved all four of our entrees and the Brussel sprouts. The churros were a delicious for dessert. We’ll be back.

   The patio was a lot of fun and the wait staff were terrific. The dinner was a B+.

   I have never been, but only heard good things about this place especially with the new chef! Can’t wait to go back for the next menu change, because everything I had was amazing. Had one of each of the oysters, chorizo one was my favorite. I am a big seafood person so we ordered the halibut and the salmon special. Both were amazing, I couldn’t pick my favorite. I do recommend getting the burrata-that was an amazing appetizer. For drinks I got the Saturn which was delicious. Serving was great! Really excited for this new chef and what he comes up with next! Such talent!!!

   Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday…service was attentive and the waitperson was very pleasant. Food was very good as we’ve come to expect. The bread (Focaccia) i s was good although My wife preferred the version we had the last time we were there, softer. I liked-the current version well enough. On to the next party

    My birthday celebration was very disappointing. We started very well with cocktails and a delicious steak tartare. Followed by Burrata. My steak entree was very good but my wife's halibut was inedible. Extremely dry and overcooked. Well that sort of ruined it for us. By the time another entree (or a less overcooked halibut) could be made I would have finished my dinner. At least we were comped for the inedible fish but left highly disappointed. It felt like they just wanted us to leave and have nothing more to do with us. The manager did not bother to talk with us about our problem. An apology or recognition would have gone a long way to assuaging my wife.
