   Falling behind. Sadly, every time we’ve visited Matthews it has gotten worse. Tonight it was the NY Strip. Honestly feel that I could find a less sinewy and cleaner cut at Publix. And the price for that and all their steaks is just out of hand. If you’re going to charge that high a price, the steak needs to deliver every time. I think Matthews is banking on its location at this point - the only steakhouse in the area. Really needs to do some soul searching and find its groove again. We won’t be back for several months.

   Came here to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The food was amazing! The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were very good. The French press coffee was a nice finish although our daughter did have the chocolate cake. Looking forward to trying again.

   I definitely would not recommend this place. although the service was great, the food definitely was not worth how expensive it is. There’s much better places and steakhouses around that I have been to. Two dinners two cocktails and a salad for over $300 is ridiculous.

   We visited NYE for a 615 reservation. Service and the meals were amazing! I had the chicken. It was delicious! Someone else in our party had the steak (I stole a taste). OMG! It was perfectly cooked. You didn't need any sauce or seasonings on it, it was delicious as it was. Drinks were great as well. We will definitely be back!

    Absolutely amazing! Alejandro took great care of my girlfriend and I! Chystal and Chef Eddie made everything amazing from the food, to the wine experience and all their preferences! Definitely coming back soon!
