Can’t say enough about the service at Matthew’s. Our 3 year old granddaughter fell asleep before dinner was served, and the staff set up a very creative & comfy chair bed for her. That would never happen in NY! We were a party for 10 - 7 adults and 3 kids under 10. Everyone’s meal was delicious. Our oldest little grandchild said that Matthew’s makes the best chicken nuggets in the world!! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We booked this restaurant based on reviews, but we were disappointed. Service was inattentive and slow. Food was tolerable but not great quality. I had a pasta with shell fish and half of the shell fish they said would be in it was missing. It had a thick sauce with the fish buried, so it was hard to tell at first. My partner had the tuna which was great, but the rice and "asian" vegetables was bland and tasteless. This is a decent beach bar, but not a quality restaurant. Sorry

Waitress took a 40 minutes after taking our order. The runners brought food, refilled waters. Had to wait approx an hour to get served dessert. Food was very good!

Great location with stellar views of the beach and sea. Highly recommend sitting outside on the patio for great sunset photos. Wait staff very attentive. It was a great relaxing evening.

A beautiful sunset and dinner under the stars while the waves lapped Up on the Sand. Definitely will be back next year !

The staff at Matthews are extremely nice. Cocktails were good Dinner was very good. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jo and Peter!

The waiter tried to rush us thru the meal. There were only 2 other tables occupied at the time. The pina colada shrimp was very good. The grouper was very salty and overdone. The palapas blocked our view of the unset. Doubt we will return.
