    My boyfriend and I have been coming the Matteo’s since it open at his old location!! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone who comes to Utah!! The waiters and waitresses always make you feel like a family!❤️

    One of the best Italian meals we have had in a long time. Excellent service, lighting, etc. We ordered the whipped Brie appetizer and the bread service - both incredible. I had the ravioli and my husband had the amatriciana at the suggestion of our awesome waitress Brenda. Both great!!!

    Amazing food - true home made style pasta. While it seems like a large/chain restaurant it is far from it. Family owned, home made, friendly and great service. Will make this a mandatory stop when back in SLC.

    We love coming to Matteo’s. We were finally able to visit their new location in downtown Salt Lake City and it is beautiful. It’s bigger than their first location but still has all the charm and familiarity. I am really touched by their ability to make you feel like a special guest. I love seeing familiar faces and the fact that they remember you is really heart warming and something a lot of restaurants don’t prioritize as part of the dining experience. The food was outstanding, as usual. We love getting the steak special whenever it is available. It really is one of the best steaks in Utah (and I’ve been to just about every steakhouse here). Of course though, the pasta is always delicious and their desserts are usually something I never pass on.

    Has potential but had a disappointing experience all around. If you are a party of two I would ask to sit at a table in the bar.

    Service was amazing. Food was good. If we returned I would ask to be seated in the back, constant draft making it a tad cold at times.

    Everything we had was fantastic. It was our first time eating at Matteo’s and will make it one of our regular places to eat in SLC. Food, friendly hostess and attentive wait staff were all exceptional. Looking forward to our next visit.

    Amazing food, great service and hospitality. It was also very thoughtful of Matteo to come check on us and make sure everything was ok. That’s what makes a good restaurant great! We will definitely go back.
