   Some of the meals you can get are tasty some of them not so much. Doesn’t exactly taste fresh. The food is not really that hot when you get it. Maybe some of the items are reheated and some are made to order you’re not able to make any changes or . I may go back to matchbox, but I probably wouldn’t do the brunch again.. 20% fee added for a group of five people totaled up to over $200 for not that great meal

   This used to be a go-to brunch spot for my friends and I on weekends, very wheelchair friendly, good food, QUIET, and reasonably priced. We were shocked yesterday when we showed up to maximum volume, bass-thumping music that made me feel like I was in a nightclub. This was at 11:30 a.m. on a Sunday. Conversation across the table was impossible. If there were reservations available at any other restaurant in the mosaic district, we would have left immediately. Anyone considering this nightmare scenario should also be advised: The brunch menu is now only an all you can eat affair for $32 dollars. Ordering a la carte is not an option. As (now former) regulars to this restaurant, we complained that there was no signage, nothing on their website, and no warning in the open table reservation system to indicate the transition to the $32 menu. After complaining to management, we were finally offered the option of ordering a la carte. Kudos to our server, who was very apologetic and just as attentative. He said the change has just gone into effect in the last couple of weeks, and many people are complaining. I'm not sure what clientele Matchbox is trying to attract with this horrible, incredibly loud music and simultaneous switch to a no more a la carte menu. We will never, ever be back.

   Jason was an outstanding server. He was very engaging and receptive to our concerns. The food wasn't impressive. I clearly understood that this was their first attempt at breakfast. The potatoes weren't seasoned. The eggs looked processed. They can get rid of the Taco bar and replace it with fresh fruit and salads. Everything seemed rushed, except for the waffles. I didn't like how I had to figure out where all of the stations were. Signs and directions would be great if the ppl working there aren't available to show you. The shrimp and grits and catfish were great.

   Really poor service. Bar really slow while the place wasn’t crowded. Only 1 server to our section that wasn’t busy and it still took her forever. She was kind but kind of confused and befuddled. Wouldn’t go back.

   The food was good with the exception of the eggs. I wish they could have fried the fish a little harder but overall it was delicious. The complaint that I would have is how long it took for us to be weighted on other tables It didn't seem to take as long as we were overlooked often and had to wave our waiter down on more than one occasion.

   I’ve been at this restaurant many times and was disappointed with the brunch! It took 15 to 20 minutes to get our first beverage in the bottomless brunch, so determined that it wasn’t worth it given. It took so long to get the first beverage! I think the staff was overwhelmed with the number of bottomless brunch and drinks that they forgot to check on the table and even refill our water. The food was delicious, not sure if I will go back for brunch?!

    I’m not one to write reviews but geez. I’ve been to matchbox before for brunch and enjoyed it. Took friends here for brunch and was so embarrassed. It was awful. They started a new “unlimited brunch” where they force everyone to pay $35 and have weird buffet stations. You can still order items from the menu but it took forever to get a server to take our orders. When my food came they cut the portions in half (one egg, 1 small sausage link, and maybe 5 potato cubes) and the food was subpar. The server was so hard to track down so it was basically impossible if you wanted to order more. It wasn’t even that busy for such bad service. Coffee/drinks aren’t included in that $35 either. They gave one of our dishes to the wrong table. Had to track down the waitress to get them to remake our food. I will not be coming back. Absurd
