   First time there and everything was spectacular and Amber our waitress was amazing and outstanding person that cared and made your dinner special. The atmosphere was fantastic and sound level was always low and relaxing. You never felt rushed our unwelcome. You felt like you belonged there and everyone was amazing and friendly and courteous. Always happy to help you. They’re thoughtful in any special occasion. Surprise us with a special treat to eat. Very yummy and fantastic food

   We always enjoy our meals out at the Match. Crosby was an excellent server & even though the restaurant was busy, and the meal took longer than normal to come, she made sure we were well looked after.

   A great dining experience again for my Wife and I at the Hanover Match Eatery. We started off with some wine during the ‘ happy hour’ and then into our dinner. The food was delicious, I had the double fish and chip dinner and my Wife had the garlic shrimp alfredo. Our server was ‘ Allie ‘ and she was absolutely the best with a good sense of humour. We come here at various times throughout the year and have always enjoyed the food and the wonderful ambiance . One of the best eateries in Hanover in our opinion.

   We ordered the sweet chili chicken for the appetizer and it was excellent . My wife had the alfredo with buttered shrimp which she found really good and I had the steak which was also very good . My only complaint is I would rather have a baked potato instead of the fries. afterwards we had the chocolate cake for dessert which was also good and they even had Irish coffee which was made to perfection. The waitress was excellent and I would definitely recommend The Match for a good time out.

   Our fries were cold and the fishy was mushy. No crispiness at all. Our waitress would just walk by, she was too busy laughing and joking with her co-workers , she was also was more interested in ensuring the pieces of hair around her face were curled.

    Tonight’s service was poor. That’s not our usual experience. The food was ok but not great like it usually is.
