    Exit waiter and service. Celebrating a birthday and they couldn’t have been nicer to our friend whose birthday it was. Can only recommend this place too highly to anybody who wants to have a great dining experience.

    By far one of the worst experiences to date at Mastros. Our server was terrible— to the point we had to order multiple drinks at the bar. The bar was out of a wine we paid for- so 30 mins later my husband finally got a glass of wine to enjoy w his then cold steak. There was somehow horseradish chunks in our Cobb salad. We celebrated an anniversary and were not offered and dessert which we always are offered as we celebrate most of our special occasions there. Water was empty the majority of the time and empty wine glasses were left on the table… really terrible overall.

    An excellent restaurant we enjoyed for years but this weekend we ordered two New York Strip steaks. My wife's was fine, easy cut and enjoy. Mine was tough, stringy with much gristle to not swallow. They offered another but since the first was not great choose a filet instead. I don't like to complain about anything at a restaurant but this was a $71 steak. Obviously not the $200+ ones but extremely disappointed. The filet was fine. Service was excellent as usual. I'd rule this as a quirk. They adjusted the bill and on the check listed "did not like", subtracted that amount and charged for the lesser price filet. Considering the situation it would have been nice if they just didn't charge for the replacement. We will definitely return to Mastro's but will stick with other entrées.

    This is my favorite steakhouse! Everytime I come I am never disappointed. Everything aspect of the experience is outstanding! I never have anything negative to say about Mastro’s, they are PERFECT!!! I always look forward to going back!
