   Our reservation was for 6:30 pm. We arrived at 6:20. We were seated around 6:45. We ordered cocktails and received them at 7:32. We ordered bone marrow, lobster bisque, and salads for starters. Those arrived at 8:22pm. 7 minutes later they brought our entrees, realized we were still having soup and took the entrees away. The entrees and sides had to be remade. The entrees came back AGAIN at 9pm. When we received our steaks, two of the temperature cooks were swapped. Halfway through my dad and I realized we were given each others steaks and I have an allergy that needed to be taken into consideration. There were people that were seated after us that received food. There were people seated after us that were completely finished with their meal before us. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. I am a patient person as my husband works in the service industry and my grandmother was a server. This entire experience was inexcusable. I will be hard pressed to go back here.

   We go to mastros every Christmas Eve and the only issue we have is the awful choice of music the live performer plays. It’s Christmas Eve so it would be nice if they only played Christmas music. Hearing her sing awful renditions of pop songs makes us rethink about going back next Christmas Eve even though we love the food and tradition of going.

   Mastro’s offers an upscale dining experience that’s perfect for steak lovers. The ambiance is elegant and inviting, with attentive, knowledgeable staff. The dry-aged ribeye was cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a beautifully caramelized crust. Side dishes like the garlic truffle cauliflower and scalloped potatoes are a must.    We had my mom’s birthday dinner here and it was beautiful. Packed and loud but the food was delicious !

   God where do I start. I simply don't understand how Tilman Fertitta takes amazing restaurants and makes them aggressively mediocre and overpriced. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated 15 minutes later (strike one, in my book); initially, they tried to seat us, a party of 6, at a 5 top (which looked more like a four top they squeezed extra chairs at). We pointed out a booth for 6 a few feet away which was already cleared and set with plates. Why they didn't just seat us there originally... Whatever. Server takes at least 30 minutes to take our drink and appetizer order. Appetizers come out, one is missing. Sigh, but again: whatever. Then a manager comes over to tell our table that we were being "too loud" (which is insane because the entire restaurant was LOUD and packed, and we could still barely hear each other), and I almost pointed out all of the above but held my tongue. Then one of our party has a cold steak. Truly, I expect a 5 star meal at MASTROS IN BEVERLY HILLS, and, as a former server and hostess who understands what fantastic service looks like, this was abysmal. Don't waste your money here. I'll be going to Steak48 next time I'm looking for a quality steakhouse experience.

   Tyler was the best waiter I’ve ever experienced! All the food & drinks were delicious!! Can’t wait to be back.
