   Massimino's Cucina Italiana in Boston’s North End provided an exceptional dining experience for my party of eight. We were seated in the cozy basement on a Saturday afternoon, and the staff took care of us wonderfully, accommodating us with ease and ensuring everyone had a great time. We started with the calamari for the table, and it was a huge hit—perfectly crispy and flavorful, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The bread and dipping oil were also exceptional, bursting with flavor. I personally ordered the spinach and beef ravioli, and it was absolutely top-notch—perfectly cooked with a rich, savory filling. Everyone in my group loved their meals, and it was clear that each dish was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The location is another bonus, especially if you’re planning an outing near TD Garden. It’s just a short walk away, making it the perfect spot for an Italian lunch before catching a game or event. The restaurant’s intimate atmosphere and attentive service made our gathering truly special. I highly recommend Massimino's for both small and larger groups—it’s a North End gem that delivers on authentic Italian flavors and warm hospitality.

   A great time. Delicious food, ample portions big enough to split. Specialty Bolognese with burratta was great. Tortellini soup was very tasty.

   Food was fantastic and came out so fast. Service was spectacular as well. Servers had a natural rapport that made the guests feel at home. They were extremely personable and attentive as well.

   I had made a reservation for 8 people on Saturday night at 7:45pm and we waited an hour to be seated. A group of 14 with an 8:15pm reservation was seated before our party. The staff was very apologetic but it seemed like anyone with a reservation was waiting at least 30 minutes for a table. Food was good, but not worth the inconvenience of an hour wait with a reservation.

   This was a pre-anniversary celebration, and we wanted to go somewhere that was part of cherished memories. Our daughter had first tipped us to Massiminos, and we have often eaten there in the past when we were going to events at the Boston Garden. This night we made a special trip knowing that there's a fine parking garage about a block over that we could easily use. Although there was a long line on the street, Massiminos had saved us a great table for two on the first floor near the window. We were immediately seated. Rather than just being helped by one server, the server who was helping the table next to us did almost as much to make our meal a special occasion. We ordered many more courses than usual, enjoying each one very much! We especially recommend the artichoke appetizer. We also had old favorites, such as veal parmigiana (which is hard to get in a good version these days in the Boston area). The house Chianti was delicious and generously poured by the glass. We will definitely go back to Massiminos in the future when we have opportunities!
