Market Bistro will open from 11.30am 7 days a week, offering a classic “bistro style” menu featuring house made pasta, and a great selection of dry aged meats and a bunch of export quality local seafood.

Our wine list will be interesting, constantly evolving and feature predominantly Australian and New Zealand producers.

A unique feature of the Bistro is the fact you can walk into & purchase wine from the Wine Store for retail prices then drink it in the Bistro (for a small corkage fee.)

Market Bistro will be a stylish, casual restaurant that is not stuffy or pretentious... It is professional, casual & truly local.

Choice of mains - Pan roasted reef fish, mediterranean Couscous, champagne sauce, charred spring onion oil or Kilcoy Tenderloin Eye Fillet, duchess potato, creamed leek and spinach, king brown mushroom, sauce diane. Dessert - Honey sponge, lime yoghurt mousse, passionfruit meringue, mango.

    For groups of 10 or more at Market Bistro we require you to choose from one of our Chefs Selection menus. We offer two courses with accompanying sides for $80 per person or three courses for $95 per person. Friday and Saturday evenings are a minimum of three courses with all other times an option of two or three courses. Additional menu add on options are available below.     The Hervey Bay scallops were outstanding. Overall the food was delicious however my 5 star rating goes to the gorgeous girl who looked after our table (and whose name I'm sorry I don't know) who was helpful but not intrusive and had a lovely manner.
