Mari Vanna NYC is the 5th restaurant in a magical story of a woman’s love for food, friends, and hospitality turned into an international franchise. Nestled in the quiet of 20th st in the heart of Flatiron, the quaint eatery has been a neighborhood staple for 14 years.

It is filled with antique furniture, lace drapery, cozy armchairs, Soviet nick-nacks, crystal chandeliers, and floral china. Our team will treat you with a menu full of home-style dishes from Russian, Ukrainian,and Georgian cuisines, accompanied by house-infused flavored vodkas and signature cocktails.

Even though our table wasn’t ready by the time of our reservation and we had to wait for additional 15 min, our hostess Yana was very sweet and she totally made up for it. Our server Karina was attentive and nice also, the food was delicious and the drinks were outstanding. Thank you again!

                                                                                                                              An absolutely wonderful and unique experience. The ambience is spectacular and the chandeliers in the dining room are incredible. For starters, the Cured Herring is outstanding and so is the King Crab Oliver salad. The Pan-Seared Salmon was cooked to perfection and the spinach cream sauce it comes with is the most delicious and rich sauce I’ve ever tasted. Seriously. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable dining experience you simply must try Mari Vanna! I live in New Orleans and know a thing or two about fine dining and decadent food.

                                                                                                                              We braved a two mile walk in Arctic temperatures across the hustle and bustle of the crowds gathering in NYC for the close of the year. When we arrived, we were only half-frozen, but thawed quickly by the hostess' warm greeting. Though crowded and bustling with activity, we were seated at a comfortable table for two in a beautiful, quaint and homey setting of a Russian cafe or home. The servers are all friendly and helpful. The food they bring to you is very authentic Russian cooking in the traditional sense. The atmosphere lends to the enjoyment of each dish that is brought out to you separately, and the timing is impeccable. Perfect timing keeps food fresh, warm and enjoyable. It is a restaurant we will not miss whenever we are in NYC. Truly a wonderful dining experience. Do novykh vstrech, spasibo!

                                                                                                                              The food and the atmosphere were great. Service was fast and attentive. Towards the end they kept insisting that we had to leave because the other reservation was there. We had a 6:45pm reservation and they gave us a 2 hour window and we ordered a bunch of food and drinks. The bill was higher than $500 and there were many tables still sitting that had gotten there before us. That was the only thing that my friends and I didn’t like.
