Named after one of the original owners, Christley Manka, the building was established in 1853 as a major stagecoach stop between Berryessa Valley and the Suisun City port. Today, Mankas Grill offers new and sensational twists on culinary staples that we are excited to share with the community.

Baked Brie was delicious, as were the oysters. Ordered the Lamb Chops, which came out cold as was the mashed potatoes. I sent them back and returned, still cold. Didn’t dare send back a second time. Extremely disappointed and didn’t feel that $62 was value for 3 small chops. Won’t ever order lamb again from Mankas

Great prime rib sandwich! Hamburger underdone. Good wine list but needs expanding, considering all of the great local wineries. We had to ask for silverware but service was good after that.

Selections for lunch were very good, and the full menu was available for lunch as well. We enjoyed the restaurant; the service was excellent and what we ate was delicious.

As a long standing customer, Mankas is always hot or miss. We had a wonderful experience last week followed by a lousy one two days later. Food was fine. My sosh came out cold and was penalized by sending it back. It came out again hot but inedible. Most importantly, the attitude around service is poor. Entrees come out when apps are still on the table and staff are openly annoyed and easy to mock customers for asking the table to be biased or fresh silverware to be provided.
