Manhattan Beach Post consistently offers "amazing food" and a lively atmosphere. The menu features inventive dishes like biscuits and shared plates, with standout items such as the "bacon cheddar biscuits" and "green beans." Very cool vibe but maybe we caught an off night from kitchen. Food was cold on most dishes. The tuna was a joke! 5 paper thin slices of tuna served cold. People love this place so maybe it was just a bad night.

Food was absolutely amazing! Never disappoints. The steak with the chimichurri sauce is my go to and favorite.

Our server - Sebastian! Amazing! Always friendly and gives great advice. Ambience - Dimly lit and a great vibe. Not too boujie and always feel welcomed. Food - each dish is its own star. Cheesy bacon bread is fantastic. Their pretzel appetizer is awesome. Brussel sprouts are super good. Charcuterie board is on point. Their skirt steak is ridiculously good. MBP is my favorite spot in Manhattan Beach!

I brought my brother here for a birthday brunch … This restaurant came highly recommended but was the opposite of what was described. Food was mediocre, service was mediocre, but the waiter was good enough to take off an item that didn’t live up to the hype! Will not come back here. Wasted a drive in LA traffic….

Needed to find a brunch spot on the way to LAX and it did the trick. The ambiance was nice and little loud but nice. I needed to ask for clean silverware as mine was originally a little dirty. And my food wasn’t served hot. I had ordered the eggs Benedict, flavor was good but again after I received my order and ate immediately the food tasted warm/cold like they had been cooked and we’re sitting under heating lamp for sometime. We did tell the server just to let them know that the food wasn’t hot. He asked if we wanted to take it back, but we just wanted to make him aware and that it wasn’t a crazy problem. He was very apologetic and later brought us out a complementary warmed banana bread, which was an apology from the kitchen. The rest of my party ordered different Plates and thought the food was good, but nothing out of this world. And the kitchen seemed a little bit behind as the different dishes arrived at our table at significantly different times. So we couldn’t really enjoy eating altogether because if we waited on all the plates to arrive Some of our dishes would be extra cold lol. Honestly, our experience wasn’t terrible. Our server was very nice and attentive. Busyness was understandable due to the peak bunch/lunch hour we dined at. But everything is really just OK. Restaurant itself is cute though and close to the beach. Honestly, not my first pick if I’m in the area, but if options were very limited, I would maybe dine there again …. Maybe 7/10

The service was great, but my dining experience went downhill from here. Number 1, the music was super loud. But that’s not the worst part! The music selection was something out of a heavy metal rave. I was on a double date with a married couple, trying to catch-up through conversation was impossible. We ordered from a special Spain inspired taste menu. By the third course, my taste buds gave up. Not only will I not return to Post on a Sat night, not likely to dine in Manhattan Beach on a Sat night. What happened to enjoying a pleasant dinner while catching up with friends?

We’ve dined at MB Post countless times, and unfortunately had our first bad experience last night. We were sat 30 minutes late, and because of it our food was rushed so the next table could come in, and they had just ran out of an appetizer we could have gotten if we were sat on time. Overall just not the best hospitality for a restaurant we know and love dearly
