   Our server, Marahlyn (sp?), went over every special and several menu items in great detail. She suggested the Pomodoro Vodka (no alcohol!) as a perfect blend of red and white sauces so I ordered it with a sliced chicken breast on top. It is INCREDIBLE, one of the best things I have ever eaten. I have been mourning Seafood Lasagna’s departure from Mangiamo’s menu, the Pomodoro Vodka is even better and my new go-to. Bottom Line: Mangiamo combines top shelf service, food, and ambiance at a surprisingly reasonable price. I hope to see you there!!

   We had a wonderful dinner and experience with our entire party of 9. Our waitress was very attentive and kept up wonderfully with our service. We never had to ask for anything or refills on drinks. Food was absolutely amazing. Definitely a great place to go.

   We dined at this restaurant on Valentine’s. The restaurant was busy but I wouldn’t say “packed”. It took an hour to get our salad and 20 mins to get a glass of wine. The server was friendly but it was just slow and she mentioned the kitchen was backed up. I had the seabass and roasted brussel sprouts which I thought was bland. My husband had the rigatoni and was not happy with the sauce. We may try to give this restaurant another try since it was a holiday and perhaps try a different dish. The restaurant itself was very nice and when we walked in the door we were happily and timely greeted.

   I have been a couple times this was def the best. Server was perfectly lovely and the dishes were all great!

   Our server was wonderful; however, the food was sub par at best. I had the eggplant parm with basil cream sauce and angel hair pasta. It was lukewarm to almost cold when it came out…my friend’s crawfish pasta was the same temp. We were starving, so we didn’t send it back. The side salad was the best thing there. I had a wonderful experience my first visit last spring, but this visit was not great. If things don’t change, I won’t be back.

   I had the Occo Bucco at Mangiamos on New Year’s Eve. It was excellent. The Afagatto desert was a great finish to the meal.

   This was a family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. I did indicate this on the reservation, and I wasn't disappointed when the hostess acknowledged this upon my arrival, and we were promptly seated. Our server (Marlin is how it is said, but she didn't tell me how it was spelled) was so very sweet and attentive. She knew the menu well and helped us when we needed some guidance. I took her recommendation on the wine accompaniment, and I was not disappointed. While the food time seemed a little excessive (we didn't even get our appetizer until an hour after we were seated) we enjoyed family time and no one was too upset. I was only a little disappointed that the crab cake appetizer was now basically a one-person dish, it didn't ruin anything for us. The meal was tasty, as expected, with plenty to take home with us. The service really made it for us, though.

    Food was delicious. We had the calamari, crab dip, crab cake, oyster Rockefeller, and scallops. Would recommend all of them.
