Overall great experience celebrated my wife’s birthday only mishap was our reservation we asked for a certain spot of the restaurant and the host had given it away to someone else without checking our reservation. They did apologize and accommodated us

I got the stuffed plantain appetizer, the stuffed red snapper (had bones in it), and my boyfriend got the pork belly.. all was yummy but also very dry.

Mamajuana is a great vibe for a friends night out, birthday, or a fun date night. The food and drinks were really good and the service was exceptional. I had the empanada trio and the stuffed red snapper. There was a dj on Saturday night which made it a more lounge/fun atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
