   Steff’s food is, simply put, magical. Plentiful, delicious, appealing to the eye - as the plates arrive and you think you’ve ordered a lot, you find yourself eating every divine morsel! Marty as ever the warm and smiling maitre’d, cocktails en pointe, surrounded by happy diners and a Jamaican music vibe…what’s not to love?

   This place is awesome, great food, friendly service and excellent value for money. Definitely give this place a try. The goat curry and jerk chicken are amazing.

   Amazing food with a rich flavour profile. Lovely service and great vibes. Try the rum cocktails - delicious! We were delighted to finally try Mama Blu’s and can’t wait to return

   Such a lovely find. Cosy, homely restaurant with attentive service and fabulous food. So reminiscent of food cooked by my parents, I wanted to try everything on the menu. Will return next time we are in Melbourne. Thank you so much!

   I had dinner here with a friend a few nights ago, and it's all I've been thinking about since. I'm not religious but the food is HEAVENLY. So many unique and contrasting flavours, that left me and my belly very very happy. But what topped off the experience was the hospitable and friendly service that made me feel like I was having a dinner with my own family. This is my new favourite restaurant in Melbourne. I cannot wait to come back. It is too good to gatekeep.

   Always a joy - and also watching people who’ve never experienced this treasure before react with delight and amazement at Steff’s extraordinary flavour filled creations. Marty as ever is the warm and informative front of house. A beautiful night, stunning food, get to Mama Blu’s and see what all the love is about!

   Great service but food lacks authenticity based on previous experiences in the Caribbean and other parts of the world. Grilled pineapple was the best dish but wouldn't recommend the jerk chicken or Mac n cheese unfortunately

   Hi Anonymous, we are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your Mama Blu's Kitchen experience. My wife cooks from the heart, recreating the Jamaican food that she grew up with. The Jerk Marinade is inspired by the flavours of Port Antonio created by the Maroon slaves rich with the flavours of the allspice trees and the sweetness of molasses. While she is also recreating the flavours of Louisiana experienced while on a basketball tournament with our son, eating their way through various Maccaroni Cheeses.     First time trying Caribbean food - just delicious. Great service and ambiance too!! Will be back for sure. Goat curry was my favourite- never had goat before, worth a try!
