   Food was ok, service was great ! My husband went for the grilled oysters, but they did not have any, he had also went the day before, and they didn’t have any at that time either, so would be best to call if this is specifically what you are looking for. I ordered the New Orleans Salmon, the first one I had only the salmon was hot, the mash potatoes and cream sauce were cold, the waitresses did have them remake it, and it was good. At the time we went it was probably only one other table of people, pretty empty at this time, so would’ve expected for the food to be hot. Went during happy hour, happy hour portions are pretty small, just an FYI. Overall, I feel that this restaurant is OK, but nothing I would feel like I have to go back to.

   Great place to eat with good food. The service was great although it took a little longer than normal for food to come out. Due to delay my wife’s grits for her shrimp n grits were stiff. She said the flavor was very good and the stiff grits did not create a big issue. My jambalaya was great. Great flavor! We will definitely visit this place again.

   We were able to be seated immediately at our reservation time. Our food was served nice and hot. Our server was kind and attentive. My husband enjoyed the Korean Brussels sprouts and said his Asian bass entree was just okay. He really liked the coconut risotto that was with it. I had the crab fried rice and would absolutely order that again. It was filling and flavorful. This was my second visit and another good experience at this place.

   Excellent service. Our table ordered the lobster roll, meatloaf and the chicken sandwich and all were excellent. The honey bread appetizer was the perfect size for the three of us and was also good. Will be back!

   Our first two visits to Mallards were fantastic. The service was excellent and the food was great. Unfortunately our third time was not a charm. Long story short, we were in the restaurant almost two hours when our waiter informed us he had neglected to put our order in and wondered if we wanted him to put it in now. Needless to say we found another restaurant.

   Service was slow , I think they are short staffed our server was kind but was never available. Food was ok at best , takes forever to order anything from the bar …. We give it a Meeeh

   The food was great. We each had a different dish and all were great. The harvest salad and Mediterranean bowl were especially delicious. The service was pleasant and prompt.

   Waitress was terrible. It took over:15 to get our first round of drinks and she brought everyone’s but mine. It sat on the bar for another:10 until I flagged her down. My daughter ask if the dish was spicy, waitress said no, but when it came it was inedible and had to be sent back for something else. Second round of drinks were forgotten on the bar and again I had to go get her to remind her. Food was just ok.

    The waiter was very knowledgeable, friendly and did an excellent job even when there was a staffing shortage. The restaurant manager was able to accommodate a party of 15 and the food was good, full of flavor!!!
