    Our waiters and food were great! They even warned me about taking Labs Rocks off the beach as bad luck. Even though I’m thinking this maybe an old wives tale. I put the 2 small rocks back on the beach!!

    After some issues with the Ahi Bruschetta last visit, this visit was much more what I have loved and enjoyed at Mala since Mark Ellman first opened it. Jose was our server, and he was as wonderful as he always is. The fish and chips were perfect, and my friend's Eggs Benedict were excellent, she said. I'd also like to compliment the hostess. When we checked in, she offered a table on the upper "deck", which would have been a hightop and required stairs for my friend. When I asked for something lower and not a high top, she *immediately* graciously found us another table, at ground level and near the outdoor seating. Well done!

    Our server Erica was so pleasant and offered some suggestions for brunch that turned out to be perfect. Sitting outdoors with a terrific view, a very well done Eggs Benedict made for a great morning! It was so pleasant and we will return soon again.

    We went to Mala 15 years ago and brought our girls here today. Outstanding service, food and ambiance. Will definitely be back if we are lucky enough to get back to Maui.
