Intimate bar and beautiful lounge lead to unique restaurant with an open garden.

The subtly lit French oak paneled bar greets you with booth banquettes and
tables amenable to serve Jacques’ Bar Menu, all day.

The Club Room: its coffered ceilings and fireplace creates familiarity in the comfort of a warm elegant home.

Both the lounge and the bar menus offer spontaneously prepared French delicacies, savory and sweet with distinct Mediterranean and Moroccan influence.

“Majorelle” restaurant: its vaulted ceiling, marble columns, and trellised garden with up-lighted fountains set the stage for fine French Cuisine and Service in an atmosphere of harmony and luxury for all the senses.

United by the vision of discreet and timeless luxury, to elevate the time-honored tradition of tea with ultimate sophistication and style. Majorelle, with its majestic floral arrangements and light-filled terrace, provides an idyllic, garden-like setting for the Lily of the Valley Tea. Christian Dior, an avid gardener, found constant inspiration in nature and held great admiration for the lily of the valley, heralding the arrival of spring and the haute couture season. A magical thinker, Mr. Dior would sew a sprig of it into the hem of each of his dresses. As a tribute to this fascination, the Muguet collection, dreamed up by Cordelia de Castellane, has been enriched with new items dedicated to the art of tableware.

beautiful place settings! wish we could have sat in garden. didn’t know to request it. waiter didn’t tell us banana bread sandwich was being substituted for one that they didn’t have. so it was sent back upon bringing it to the table. scones were served last which was unexpected. should have been first, Tea was absolutely delicious! Dior place settings very pretty!

Majorelle is one of the last bastions of civility in New York. Service, food, comfort and care are its trademarks for me. As a decades old client of La Grenouille, I attended Majorelle upon its inception. The staffing is so very attuned and the Maitre d is conscientious and accommodating. I LOVE Majorelle!

Still delivering perhaps the best overall high end dinner experience. The flowers the room the food the noise level all beautifully combined to make a memorable evening right down to the superb soufflé for dessert.

We enjoyed a tea with all the trimmings to celebrate a special friend’s birthday. Everything about it was perfect! The tea room at The Lowell is a closed-in garden space with a fireplace and fruit trees as part of the ambiance. Totally charming and intimate. We chose the tea service that included various spreads and pita bread, along with cranberry and lemon scones with clotted cream, marmalade, and berry jelly. Also included were tea sandwiches and beautiful petite fours. The tea two of us chose was recommended by The Lowell, and it was lovely. The gentlemen who served us were very helpful in explaining what were in each of the various food items. They also allowed us a long leisure time to visit and celebrate. All in all, this was a worthy special occasion experience.
